Free - Emery Go Round

The Emery Go Round is a free bus shuttle service connecting Emeryville's employers and shopping centers with the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART), 7 days a week.

Emery Go-Round runs Monday through Friday and a Weekend Service on Saturdays and Sundays, with the exception of holidays. For more information on different shuttle lines, routes, and scheduling resources, visit the Emery Go Round site.

AC Transit

AC Transit is an award-winning bus service that connects 13 cities and adjacent unincorporated areas in surrounding counties. Many routes pass through Emeryville, including 7, 22, 27, 36, 57, 72 (L, R, M), 802, J, and F. Use the trip planner to get around.

Beginning August 10, 2025, there will be service changes to routes going through Emeryville according to the Realign Plan

Emeryville hosts the closest Amtrak Station to San Francisco, with connecting bus services and transfer hubs to other parts of the Bay Area. 

Emeryville's Amtrak Station(5885 Horton Street) is 1 of the 10th busiest in the nation, with both interstate and intercity (commuter) lines passing through the station each day. Amtrak operates the interstate passenger trains, serving destinations from Washington to Southern California as well as to Chicago and the East Coast. The Capitol Corridor is the intercity (commuter) rail service that runs from Sacramento to San Jose.

BART

BART

The Bay Area Rapid Transit website has scheduling information, fares, and maps. Emeryville's eastern city limits are only 6 blocks from the MacArthur BART Station and 2 miles from West Oakland BART. Bikes and other non-motorized transportation equipment are welcome on BART during non-rush hours.

The Emery Go Round also provides free public transit from MacArthur BART station to many points throughout Emeryville. The Emery Express, is another free shuttle route from Sherwin & Hubbard to West Oakland BART via the East Bridge Shopping Center.
