The City of Emeryville supports business growth, development, entrepreneurship and innovation. Economic Development Strategy 

The Economic Development and Housing Division implements the city’s Economic Development Strategy approved in October 2017. The Strategy provides a framework and prioritization for the deployment of the City's economic development resources, with an aim to leverage Emeryville's competitive advantage as a City of Art and Innovation. The Strategy addresses a wide range of topics including Infrastructure and Transportation, Marketing and Promotion, Community Advancement, and Organization and Network Building.
