2025 Summer/Fall Schedule

  • Swim Lessons are offered at Emeryville Center of Community Life (ECCL) Aquatic Facility.
  • Registration for Emeryville Residents starts on Wednesday, April 2 2025 @ 9:00am

  • Summer Swim Lessons will be offered in the following formats.

June - August: Weekdays

  • Group Swim Lessons:
    • Monday - Thursday (2 weeks) AM & PM Lessons available!
  • Private Swim Lessons:
    • Monday - Thursday (1 week) AM & PM Lessons available!

June - September: Weekends

  •      Saturdays (2 weeks), a total of 2 class sessions

Types of Swim Lessons

Group Lessons

  • Group Lessons can be found in 2, 4, or 8 day sessions

  • Lessons meet either Monday & Wednesday, Tuesday & Thursday, or Saturdays

  • Each class is 25 minutes

Private Lessons

  • Meets for 2 or 4 day sessions

  • Lessons meet either Monday & Wednesday, Tuesday & Thursday, or Saturdays

  • Each class is 25 minutes

Which Swim Lesson Level Am I?

The Aquatics staff advises you to enroll your child in the class that best fits your child's ability. Some types also have age requirements.

Swim Lessons Helpful Tips

  • Arrive on time and ready to swim.

  • Please check in at front desk of Pool/Gym lobby before entering the Aquatic Facility

  • All swim lessons involve hands-on instruction by Emeryville staff

  • Please review our swim attire policy

Emeryville Community Services Department Program Class Refund/Cancellation Policy

Refunds and cancellations will only be considered if they are requested within 14 days prior to the start date of the scheduled activity. In the event the Community Services Department cancels a class or program (due to inclement weather, low enrollment, etc.), a refund or make-up program will be offered. If the participant is unable to attend a class or program due to personal reasons outside of the dates specified, a refund will not be granted (including pro-rated refunds).

A $10.00 administrative fee will be applied, per customer, for each refund/cancellation. This fee may be deducted from the total refund amount if requested.
