Fiber Optic Infrastructure Installation Along I-80

Caltrans is announcing ongoing closures related to the Fiber Optic Infrastructure Project along both eastbound and westbound I-80 in Contra Costa, Solano and Alameda Counties. The installation work began on February 23, 2026, and is scheduled to take place during overnight hours to minimize traffic disruption.
