Enrollment

The Emeryville Child Development Center is open to all families throughout the Bay Area. We offer two programs: our full-fee program and our subsidized child care program.

We are currently accepting applications for enrollment. Most enrollment takes place at the beginning of the school year (late August/early September), but we enroll year-round as spaces become available.

Waitlist Information

Due to high demand, some classrooms may have a waitlist. To be added to the waitlist, families must submit a completed application and a non-refundable $54 application fee. Placement is offered as spaces become available and according to the Center's enrollment priority system.

Full Fee Programs

We typically see more demand than available space, so a priority system has been established to balance the needs of the community. The priority order for enrollment is as follows:

Siblings of currently enrolled children and staff
Families who live in Emeryville
Families who live in the greater 94608 zip code area of Oakland (neighborhoods surrounding Emeryville)
Families from throughout the Bay Area

Note: Verification of residence or employment in Emeryville or the 94608 Oakland area is required to qualify for priority enrollment.
