Voters qualify for registration by being a U.S. citizen, age 18 years or older on Election day, a resident of California, not in state or federal prison or on parole for a felony conviction, and not currently found to be mentally incompetent to vote by a court.
Re-registration is required if you have moved since you last registered, changed your name, or changed your political party affiliation.
