Apply For a Committee
The City of Emeryville has numerous Advisory Boards, Commissions, and Committees that help the City Council make Emeryville the best city the City can be. Every meeting is open to the public, with meeting agendas posted on the City’s website. To be a voting member of one of the City’s advisory bodies, community members will need to apply and be appointed by the City Council. To apply, complete an online application. Interested community members may also obtain a paper application through the City Clerk’s Office and email or hand deliver to:

The City of Emeryville’s Community Advisory Committees consist of various community members representing a specific demographic. Below are definitions of the various existing committee positions.

Applications are kept on active file for one year and applicants will be notified when their advisory body of interest has a vacancy. Applicants are encouraged to attend at least one meeting of the advisory body that they are interested in joining.
