Sutter Hospital

In March 2026 the City received a revised preliminary application from Sutter Health for an amendment to the Chiron Planned Unit Development to construct a new 330 foot tall, 785,000 square foot hospital (Building B8); a new 50 foot tall, 55,600 square foot building that will either be a medical office building or a 57-unit residential building (Building B1); and to convert two existing buildings to medical office uses (Building B4 and Building B2/3) totaling 563,200 square feet. The site address is 5300 Chiron Way.

The City has hired Urban Planning Partners (UPP) to conduct analysis required by the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) for the project.
