The City’s Sustainable Streetscapes 2024 project is winding down. As part of the punch list items for the project, a section of asphalt will be replaced at 53rd and Hollis, to repair a damaged section of the pavement. This work is scheduled for Friday, June 5, 2026. During this time, the traffic signal at this intersection will be placed in “flashing mode”, and vehicles traveling through must treat the signal as a four-way stop. Lane closures on Hollis Street will be in effect for part of the day as the work is completed. Follow any detour signage and flagger direction to safely get around the construction area.

Drivers can expect delays while traveling through this intersection; consider alternate routes if you can. We apologize for any inconvenience but thank you for your continued patience.
