Assistant City Manager Pedro Jimenez

Pedro joined the City of Emeryville in 2015 and has over 33 years of experience in city government. Currently serving as the Assistant City Manager for the past three years, he oversees Public Works and Community Services, provide support to the City Manager’s office and assist other departments as needed. Prior to this role, Pedro spent seven years as Emeryville's Community Services Director. Before his tenure in Emeryville, he worked for the City of Hercules from 1991 to 2015, advancing from coordinator to Director. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Recreation from Cal State East Bay in 2007 and a Master of Public Administration in 2020.
