General Plan Annual Progress Reports

Sections 65400 and 65700 of the California Government Code require all cities and counties to file an annual report addressing the status of the General Plan and report on the progress made towards implementing goals and policies to their legislative bodies. The progress report must be submitted to the Governor’s Office of Planning and Research (OPR) and the Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) by April 1 of each year. Below are links to the annual progress report provided to, and approve by, City Council prior to forwarding to OPR and HCD.
