City of Emeryville Memorial Plaque Bench Program

Honor a Loved One with a Lasting Tribute

The City of Emeryville offers residents and community members the opportunity to commemorate loved ones through our Memorial Plaque Bench Program. This program allows you to place a personalized plaque on an existing bench in one of Emeryville’s beautiful parks, creating a meaningful space for reflection and remembrance.

LOCATION: Existing benches in Emeryville parks and public areas.

COST: $325 per plaque (includes plaque production and installation)

PLAQUE SPECIFICATIONS:

• Size: Approximately 7" x 4"
• Text: Up to 4 lines
• Design: Standard engraved plaque; some symbols may be included upon approval

HOW IT WORKS

1. Choose Your Bench
   • Select an existing bench in a City park
   • Provide a photo and location map for confirmation
2. Submit Your Inscription
   • Provide wording for each line (up to four lines)
3. Payment & Proof
   • Payment must be made before order is submitted. A proof of the plaque will be sent to you for approval before production.
4. Installation
   • Once approved, the plaque will be installed by City staff
