Apply For an Advisory Body

The City of Emeryville has numerous advisory bodies that are advisory to the City Council.  Every meeting is open to the public, with meeting agendas posted on the City’s website.  To be a voting member of one of the City’s advisory bodies, community members will need to apply and be appointed by the City Council.  To apply, complete an online application. Interested community members may also obtain a paper application through the City Clerk’s Office and email or hand deliver to:

Applications are due Friday, April 24, 2026, by 5:00 PM.  Appointments are scheduled to be made at the Tuesday, June 16, 2026, Emeryville City Council meeting.  Applications are kept on active file for one year and applicants will be notified when their advisory body of interest has a vacancy. Applicants are encouraged to attend at least one meeting of the advisory body that they are interested in joining.
