Emeryville Child Development Center (ECDC)

The Emeryville Child Development Center is a community Early Childhood Education program serving children and families since 1979. Our mission at the Emeryville Child Development Center is to provide safe, nurturing, and supportive care in a culturally diverse environment for children and families. We strive to work in collaboration with parents and honor the parent as the child’s first teacher. We learn and grow together in an environment rich with language, exploration, wonder and joy! We are a California state licensed center which provides year-round care and early education to children twelve months to five years old. We are proud to be one of the first child development centers in the state of California to be operated by a city.
