After two years of outreach, research, and rider input, AC Transit’s redesigned bus network — Realign — is launching this August. Built through community input and detailed route analysis, these Realign service changes aim to bring better frequency, improved connections, and more reliable service across the region.

Community Built
Over 22,000 riders and residents shaped this new network through surveys, public meetings, and in-person outreach.

Built on Equity 
Realign prioritizes those who rely on transit most — including low-income communities, seniors, and riders with disabilities — by preserving and improving service where it’s needed most.

Backed by Data 
Each route was reviewed through a comprehensive, data-driven process. Using ridership patterns, travel data, and demographics, we built a network for the way people travel today.
