Capitol Improvement Program

The Capital Improvement Program (CIP) is a five-year plan that helps guide Emeryville's investment in our public buildings, parks, streets, sewers, and other City facilities.

Projects included in the CIP are large-scale, long-term investments that build, replace, or improve public infrastructure. These capital projects are different from maintenance projects, which are not included in the CIP and are small, short-term repairs. Maintenance requests can be reported through SeeClickFix.

City staff use the CIP as a roadmap to design, construct, and repair city facilities that support a livable and sustainable Emeryville. Find the previous version here: 2019-2023 CIP(PDF, 12MB).

The Emeryville City Council adopted the 2023-2028 CIP on June 6, 2023. Check the resolution and accompanying documents.
