Inspection Service for Prospective Businesses
A building inspector will visit a site that you are considering buying or leasing. The inspector will advise you whether the space meets the code requirements applicable to your project. Service is provided for $45 per inspection.
Program for Recognition of Excellent Property Maintenance - "Emeryville is Proud"
The program presents recognition awards to property owners for superior property maintenance. These awards are given quarterly by the City Council to property owners who are chosen by the Planning Commission. The award is a plaque suitable for exterior mounting and a gift certificate is donated by Home Depot.
Program for Seismic Retrofit for Wood-Framed Dwellings
The program encourages owners of one- and two-family, wood-framed residential structures to seismically upgrade their properties. Simple, easy-to-understand plans and a pamphlet explaining the retrofit measures are available for a nominal fee.
