PARK AVENUE DISTRICT ADVISORY COMMITTEE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that there is a vacancy on the Park Avenue District Advisory Committee, for the remainder of the resident term that expires December 31, 2014.

The deadline for applications is Monday, April 29 no later than 5 p.m. (see below for how to apply).
Applicants are encouraged to attend the Wednesday, May 8, 2013 Park Avenue District Advisory Committee meeting. As part of the meeting’s agenda, the Committee will interview prospective members, with the Committee having the option of making an appointment recommendation for the City Council to consider as part of their appointment deliberations.
Appointments to the Committee will be made at the May 21, 2013 regular Emeryville City Council meeting.
The Park Avenue District Advisory Committee consists of ten (10) community members (6 residents and 4 business representatives) and one (1) non-voting City Council liaison that are appointed by the Emeryville City Council and serve two (2) year terms. The Committee’s purpose is monitor implementation of the City’s 2006 Park Avenue District Plan. The Committee meets on the second Wednesday of November, February, May, and August at 6:00pm. in City Hall, 1333 Park Avenue, Garden Area, Emeryville, CA.
