Public Art Committee


Brief Description
Permanent Advisory status. Membership consists of a total of 13 members, comprised of residents and business owners/representatives, and 2 Councilmembers. Councilmembers serve one-year terms; all other members serve two-year terms.

Duties & Powers
Select public art works for placement in municipal development projects subject to the final approval of the City Council; advise City Council on the use of Public Art Fund and other matters regarding implementation of the Art in Public Places Program; and promulgate and amend as necessary Art in public Places Program guidelines.

Monthly, 2nd Thursday, 5:30 p.m., at the City's
Administrative Offices, 1333 Park Avenue Emeryville, CA 94608.
