Market Rate Program

If you are interested in purchasing a market rate unit and are a first time homebuyer, the City offers a variety of assistance programs. The Emeryvile Redevelopment Agency's First-Time Hombuyers program provides down payment assistance to low and moderate income, first-time homebuyers purchasing homes in Emeryville. The program has funds available year-round. More than 300 households have taken advantage of the program. Read more.

Several housing developments with an affordable housing component are underway in the City of Emeryville. Call (510) 596-3789 to put your name on our notification list. Leave your name, address, telephone number, and whether you are interested in rental and/or ownership housing. When project units are ready for lease-up or sale, your name will be sent to the project developer/marketing agent. Read more.
