All food vendors, such as restaurants, cafés, delis and caterers, who use disposable food service-ware, must switch to compostable food service-ware by January 1, 2008

Bay Area Green Business
The program is a cooperative regional effort to assist small businesses to understand regulatory concerns and come into full compliance with federal, state and local environmental regulations. Businesses who comply are marketed to the public so information to support environmentally friendly businesses.

The program provides for the proper disposal of solvents, chemicals, paint, pesticides, syringes or sharps .
Marina Used Oil Depot Program

A used motor oil recycling depot has been installed near the fuel dock at the Marina. The service is free to the public. Contact Marina personnel for assistance.
Composting/Worm Composting Program

Recycle fruits, vegetables, and yard trimmings in your own backyard to produce a great soil additive. Or use a worm composting bin for composting vegetable food wastes using red worms.
