The City is in the process of making improvements to the play areas at Temescal Creek Park. After a community meeting held with residents in early May 2011 at Temescal Creek Park, which generated many good ideas, two designs were presented to the City Council on August 16, 2011; the Council selected a final design and directed staff to move forward. A follow-up to the renovation project was provided to the City Council on October 16, 2012, to discuss the status of the Eucalyptus trees in the final park design. Temescal Creek Park renovations are underway and expected completion is May/June 2013
