The focus for this lesson is to improve swimmers technique and overall fitness, while doing so in a way to build into a competitive level. Participants must be able to swim a minimum of 25 yards of freestyle, breaststroke, and backstroke.

Expose boys and girls to the basics of water polo. Swim development and fundamental water polo drills are the focus. Prerequisite: Must be able to swim 25 yards of freestyle.
Red Cross Classes
Learn how to save a life and become an American Red Cross certified Lifeguard! After successful completion, the American Red Cross will issue certificates in Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED, Administering Emergency Oxygen, Blood Borne Pathogens and Title 22. Bring swimsuit, towel, lifeguard book (receive in class), resuscitation mask (receive in class) and lunch each day. Students will receive more information after completing the prerequisites.
The Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED course incorporates the latest science and teaches students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, back injuries, heat and cold emergencies and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies to help victims of any age - adults (about 12 years and older) and pediatric (infants and children up to 12 years of age). Students who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/ CPR/AED valid for two years.

The aquatic intern program is designed for youth (12-15 years of age) who are interested in becoming lifeguards and WSI, but do not meet the minimum age requirements. This program will help to prepare participants to apply for and work as a professional lifeguard and WSI once they do meet the age requirement. All participants will help to protect the lives and well being of each person using the pool and teach swim lessons at our facility.
Applications will be accepted May 1st-May 31st. Group interviews will begin in June.

Our private patio area is available for rent during our Recreation Swim periods on Saturdays, from June 24th thru August 17th from 4:00-6:00pm. Pool Party includes tables, chairs, umbrellas and a propane grill (gas included)! Only $41 for a 2-hour rental ($52 for non-residents). The pool is also available for rentals in the evening and on weekends for private pool parties.
WORLDS LARGEST SWIM LESSON
Join us on June 19th, 2019 for the World’s Largest Swimming Lesson™ This will be the tenth year for the global event and TEAM WLSL™ will continue with its goal of reaching more than one billion with the message Swimming Lessons Save Lives™ by 2020. Local WLSL events will take place at hundred of locations in more than 20 countries on give continents over the course of 24 hours. The lesson will be 45 minutes and is FREE. Thursday, June 20th, 2019 | Ages: 1-14 years old Check-in starts at 2:00pm | Lesson starts at 2:30pm
Aquatics & Program Class Refund/cancellation Policy
Refunds/Cancellations that are requested within 7 (seven) days prior to the scheduled lesson or class will be permitted.* Make-up swim lessons will not be granted if unable to attend. A refund will not be given. If weather conditions are deemed too severe for all lessons, by a lead/supervisor, a refund will be reimbursed for that missed lesson. *A $10.00 (ten dollars) administrative fee will be charged, per customer, if requesting a refund/cancellation. The administrative fee will be deducted from the refund.
